Many of our flatwork projects require steps to transition from one elevation to another. When stairs are designed, the most important dimensions are the riser height and tread depth. Riser and tread depth are designed to comfortably accommodate the customer. Once a functional stair is designed, narrowing down the decorative options is the next step. Stairs can be colored and have a swirled broomed finish or stamped finishes. A variety of curved architectural profiles may also be selected instead of having 90-degree edges.
